I’ve Been Seeing A Nurse Practitioner At One Clinic, And A M.d. At Another Clinic…some Questions Please?

The nurse practioner knows somehow from my medicaid that I am getting xanax from a doctor. I have trouble leaving my house from agoraphobia, and I have panic attacks. He is also prescribing hydrocodone to me for my back pain.
The nurse practioner has been prescribing me ultram for my back, and she has prescribed me fioricet for my really bad tension headaches.
In April I went to see the nurse practitioner, she said she regretted filling my fioricet, but she didn’t cancel it. She agreed with a lot of pressure to prescribe me 120 ultram a month. She tried to give me some week muscle relaxers but I told her they don’t work. She said she would test my urine to see if I had xanax in my system. She said if I did she would give me the xanax instead of the doctor. The test had no xanax, so I have continued to see the doctor for my xanax, and hydrocodone.
I am seeing the nurse practitioner on friday. I dunno if she will refill my fioricet, but she might refill my ultram. How can I convince her to recommend me to the pain clinic? And how can I convince her to continue me on my fioricet? My tension headaches are so bad that I need fioricet everyday.
Edit: I’ve asked this question a few times, each time people claim I am some kind of an addicted person to drugs. It’s very insulting, and you don’t know my pain so do not judge. I want a real answer on how to get the nurse to recommend me to the pain clinic, and how to get her to refill my fioricets. Fioricets are not exactly some gread drug. They are a medication that helps my tension headaches go away. Sometimes they work, some times they don’t. Hydrocodone I don’t care for much, so your theory that I am a drug addict is wrong. As for xanax, it is a medication for people who have panic attacks like myself. Do not judge because I am taking medication, not buying drugs from Michael Jacksons dealers.

So, my doc prescribed me .25mg xanax and 20mg celexa (i have erratic depression and madCRAZY panic/anxiety attacks) Generally, I suffer too much anxiety to go out and function without “training wheels”. When I have an anxiety attack, it’s as if the world is ending, literally. I can’t even begin to explain the horror. It’s bad enough that my heart will beat in my head/face and I nearly pass out. I usually don’t have much recollection of what happens during them. I informed the doc of how severe it was (sometimes I was sent home home from work with sympathy). I was able to be quite thorough explaining it after spending 8 years suffering. The other day, as I was unable to make an appointment (it’s finals week), I spoke with the doc on the phone to renew my prescriptions. I told him I tweaked the way I used the xanax in comparison to the label’s instructions (take 1 pill twice daily as needed). He never told me a specific way to take it (just something like: take as needed. it works quicker than buspar.)
HERE’S WHAT I DID:
–I tried taking one when I felt the onset of anxiety/panic (no relief). Tried this once more (same result)
–Since label said take 1 twice daily, I felt safe with two at once at the onset of attack (no relief)
–FACT: never took the xanax more than 2 days in a row (i fear addiction/dependency)
–Eventually, I tried (4) of the .25mg pills to yield 1mg. 1mg caused subtle relief and prevented the anxiety from going into full blown attack mode.
I did all of the above with confidence through endless hours of research on medical sites and speaking to people with personal experiences. I found that it is not at all uncommon for someone with SEVERE anxiety/panic attacks to take 1mg of xanax every so often to combat the attack (mine are 1, sometimes 2 attacks per week. Sometimes none). It made sense to not let the benzo in xanax build in my system by taking it daily (it’s short acting anyways; seemed like i was buying a ticket to hell). I did this modifying on my own without consulting the doc because he wouldn’t return my calls. He BERATED me, quite frankly. He said it was really stupid of me to do such a thing. I only told him about it because I wanted a prescription of .5mg or 1mg xanax to take on an ACTUAL as needed basis. I didn’t really get the chance to explain how I experimented with the xanax. It was as soon as he heard me say “4 of the .25mg pill before I get any relief” that he tweaked. Anyhow, i stated that the .25mg xanax must change. So, over the phone, he prescribes me .5mg klonopin. I am quite confused. Was I so wrong to do what I did? Should he have given me a larger dose of xanax to take maybe once or twice a week in the first place since I stated I DON’T WANT TO TAKE IT EVERYDAY AND I DON’T WANT TO BECOME DEPENDENT? I mean seriously, .25mg, the lowest it goes and I expressed how bad my anxiety/panic attacks were.

Will This Cause Brain Damage?

Yes, i posted before. I don’t think people took me seriously enough.
I would like to know how to get sick. I’mtalkingg about brain damage (permanently will be a plus).

Valium/Diazepam
Klonopin/Clonazepam
Ativan/Lorazepam
Xanax/Alprazolam
Soma/Carisoprodol
Tramadol
Promethazine
Bricanyl
Aspirin
Paracetamol
I also got ALOT vitamins… will a MEGA .. like 100g dose make any brain damage?
If anyone knows how to get LSD, please tell me that also.
Will mixing any of thoughcausee me brain damage. Do i need to hit my self hard? Please i need a need ‘recipe’. Thank you.
I lastly. I’. NOT ****** up psychosis freak. I’m working got (a VERY few) friends. etc… all this normal things, and that’s freaking me out. Give me something terrible mental permanent condition.

after I drink coffee, I have to take a nap! I know it sounds weird, but it’s unfortunately true
Once I bought an energy drink and instead of feeling more energetic… it made me go to bed
Recently, I found out that I have ADD and I’ve begun taking ritalin, a stimulant. Well, it makes me sleepy! I think I will stop it, it’s horrible.
I remember a few years ago, I suffered from some anxiety and the doctor prescribed me Xanax,…. well it didn’t work at all, I had much more anxiety after taking Xanax than before so I stopped it.
There must be something terribly wrong with the chemicals in my brain
Has anybody ever heard of something like this?

I Have 2 Weeks Vacation, Should I Not Go Having Had Bad Experience Before Or Should I Go To Break The Fear?

Each day that goes by leading up to going on vacation to the philppines at the end of May is draining me due to anxiety of the flight.
I really want to go and have good reasons to because Im going to see my boyfriend who I love.
Last year I was suspose to go to see my brother in Seattle and I made the trip partially and backed out after I flew to philly because of an anxiety attack before the 2nd flight to seatte took off.
I never took medications before, but I have recently seen my doctor and told him my situation and he precribed me xanax and told me I would be fine. I havent bought the tickets yet, but I need to make this decission within a few weeks to just do it and get over my anxieties of flying. I bought a audio CD on aniety relief that Im waiting for in the mail. I also thought about going to the doctor to see if he can prescribe me with something mild for the days leading up to the trip, cuz this is really making me nervous just thinking about it. Will xanax work for me on this close to 20hour flight? Also, does anyone know what other options I have on this subject. thanks.

My Friend Is Abusing Her Prescription Drugs, Can I Tell Her Doctor?

I have/had a good friend who I am currently losing to pills. She has suffered from anxiety in the past which has seemingly ceased. She is prescribed Xanax and Klonopin. She has admitted to lying about her anxiety to her doctor. She said she exaggerates mostly everything. Over the past year I have seen her weight drop by nearly 20lbs and her mood is mostly crabby when she is not on “enough” pills. She also buys Oxycontin nearly 2-3x a week mixed with xanax and klonopin. She frequently also drinks on these pills and acknowledges her like for the pills. When we go out she is in the corner passed out cold. Sometimes it can happen in an instant and she is in a deep sleep, sometimes she struggles to keep her eyes open. Is there anyway I can make this known to her doctor? I know there is a patient confidentiality deal here but what would you do? She has gotten worse and it isn’t helping that her mom also gives her her Vicodin. On a normal day she is on 5-7 xanax, a few klonopins and a few vicodins. On the 4th of July she took 5 ecstasy pills and all the above mentioned drugs. She has gotten a DUI but that has not affected her one bit since everyone around her is an enabler. What can I do? All of her friends miss the old her. Thanks…

All of your life, you’ve been lied to.
You’ve been told what life is supposed to be about. Grow up, do well in school, make
friends, get a girlfriend or boyfriend, get a good job, get married, get a nice house and
have kids. Watch tv, go to church, vote, find some hobbies to entertain you. Donate
money to charity. Go on vacation. Get old, retire, spend time with the grandkids. Look
back on your life with nostalgia, look forward to the afterlife of your choosing.
This is what you’re supposed to do, this is what normal people do. This is what everyone
else is doing. Oh sure, there are a few aberrations here and there, sometimes some
people slip off this track, but you can get back on at any time.
Of course, when you actually look at the world around you, you may see something
entirely different.
See that young married couple living next door, with the wife gardening in the front yard
while the kids play out back? She’s snowed under with Xanax all the time, without which
she’d be in a continuous state of anxiety. And her 6 year old son, he’s following in mom’s
footsteps already, taking his daily dose of Ritalin to keep him tranquil enough to sit still all
day at school.
She stopped sleeping with her husband several years ago, but that’s ok, cause he
sneaks off a couple times a week and has sex with street prostitutes in the back seat of
his car, or a nearby motel. He feels a bit bad for them, and tips them extra.
His favorite prostitute is always glad to see him, because he’s pleasant enough and an
easy $75. Too bad they can’t all be like him. She gets beaten up and raped by johns
multiple times a year, but that’s ok, she can handle it, cause even at its worst this job is
still better than what she went through as a child. Besides, there’s no other way she could
support her crack cocaine habit.
And the cop who tries to arrest her, last night he arrested the neighborhood marijuana
dealer, then went home and got nice and legally drunk on jack daniels.
And the cop’s daughter, the pretty high school cheerleader, sneaks off and vomits after
every meal so she won’t get fat.
But these are all small scale problems. Don’t forget that, several times a century, often
enough to happen at least once during the average human lifetime, all the most powerful
nations of the world divide up into sides and begin slaughtering anyone they can find on
the opposing side by the millions. This is agreed by all to be unfortunate but necessary.
And the city you live in, if you’re in a western country and living in a city, has already been
targetted by some country’s nuclear weaponry. A few pushes of the right buttons, and
you’ll be vaporized, or survive and live in some radioactive wasteland. But that’s ok,
because it probably won’t happen in the immediate future, so you might as well go out
and buy the week’s groceries.
Beneath the thin veneer of civilization lies a howling madness, and the average normal
human being has the ability to commit genocide during the day, then come home and
tuck the kids in at night, or to ignore the pain of a billion people in misery while mowing
the lawn or doing christmas shopping.
The Big Lie is that all of the problems of human life are separate. If you
compartmentalize them all, you can convince yourself that once you lose that 40 pounds,
or get more money, or get your husband to stop beating you, or finally kick that addiction,
you’ll be a normal happy person like everyone else. And once you get the right politician
elected, or win the war, or convert the infidels to your religion, the world will be a happy
place.
The problems of life are all symptoms of the same cause. The locks on your doors
which you need to keep out burglars, the schoolyard bully, the serial killer, the drug
addict, the drug dealer, the billionaire who thinks he’s being exploited by the poor, the
millions of soldiers fighting for peace, the enslavement or slaughter of entire races of
people, and your own unhappiness, all are interconnected. They are all part of one
problem.
I wish I could define the problem for you, or offer a solution. Human beings seem to
have a basic design flaw. We’re a ****** up species, striving to be healthy and happy
while simultaneously destroying ourselves and each other in a million different ways.
The only positive note I can end this on is that it’s better to understand all this than to be
ignorant of it, I think.

Police Won’t Arrest Drug Dealer In Wheelchair !?

We have 2 drug dealers in town that I know about and both are in wheelchairs. Is this some trick to collect disability because neither work. The cops won’t arrest them, allegedly because they have to provide wheelchair ramps and take them to the toilet. Or do the cops buy drugs from them?? These guys pay cheap rent and just hang out at the house watching tv and selling weed/xanax. Anyone heard of this laxity in the police dept? I only know of them because they’re friends of my daughter’s. I am actually afraid that if I report them by payphone I’ll get shot. So please don’t ask me to report them, ok? I just want to know if you’ve heard of this in other towns.
