I have/had a good friend who I am currently losing to pills. She has suffered from anxiety in the past which has seemingly ceased. She is prescribed Xanax and Klonopin. She has admitted to lying about her anxiety to her doctor. She said she exaggerates mostly everything. Over the past year I have seen her weight drop by nearly 20lbs and her mood is mostly crabby when she is not on “enough” pills. She also buys Oxycontin nearly 2-3x a week mixed with xanax and klonopin. She frequently also drinks on these pills and acknowledges her like for the pills. When we go out she is in the corner passed out cold. Sometimes it can happen in an instant and she is in a deep sleep, sometimes she struggles to keep her eyes open. Is there anyway I can make this known to her doctor? I know there is a patient confidentiality deal here but what would you do? She has gotten worse and it isn’t helping that her mom also gives her her Vicodin. On a normal day she is on 5-7 xanax, a few klonopins and a few vicodins. On the 4th of July she took 5 ecstasy pills and all the above mentioned drugs. She has gotten a DUI but that has not affected her one bit since everyone around her is an enabler. What can I do? k well me and my 2 friends took some took a 2mg xanax each last night and then bout 30 min later we decided to buy a 20 sack and we smoked it like me and my other friend felt good and fine but my other friend was throwing up so much and like ive smoked with em both before and my friend threw up last time but we did robotrip before smoking last time? like whats wrong with him why does he throw up when he smokes? is their something wrong with him? or does he just fail at life hahah

One of my ex boyfriends started saying some mean things to both my current boyfriend and me that were pretty harsh so I cut him off as a friend. My best friend hung out with him shortly after he and I stopped being friends. I asked her if she would please respect me and not do that do that since he was cruel to me and my boyfriend and she agreed and said of course she would take my side. She was never friends with him to begin with.
Well to make a long story short, I found out that she continued hanging out with him behind my back and lied to my face about it. She constantly talked crap about him to me and said that I was her best friend and he was a horrible person. Well he ended up coming to me and showing me all these text messages from her where she invited him over and told him not to tell me and was hitting on him and talking crap about my current relationship. He has a drug problem and she never did drugs but decided to buy ecstasy and xanax from him.
Now when I confronted her about it and told her about all the evidence I had and how hurt I was, she got so upset tried to deny everything and wanted to keep being my friend. No matter what evidence I have, no matter how much she lied to me, she will not admit it. I enjoy hanging out with her so much and am going to miss being her friend, but how can I?
Sorry to be so long, I just wanted to know what other people would do if there best friend lied to them and would not tell the truth. Would you try and work things out or not?

My friend (20) and me (38) co signed on 2 loans and I cannot get him to pay anything. In Oct 07 I cosigned for a Jeep (I’m Primary) payment is 340/month and insurance is 280/month. In Jun 08, I cosigned (I’m primary) for a personal loan for his scooter, payment is 120/month. I lost my job and he has been working for 2 months at 10/hr, 40 hrs a week. His girlfriend lives with him and she makes 8.00/hr, 30 hrs a week. They have no other bills and moved out from my house in Sept 08 and live next door at step dads house.
He never had to pay insurance, I will pay to help him, but now he has not made any payments on the scooter (3 months worth) and has missed 5 Jeep payments in a row. Minimum I am out is 3460 for all.
Tried to take Jeep back in Sept and step dad said to me ‘your not taking my Jeep’ His step dad uses this Jeep as his personal car. I he does have a beer when he drives. He goes to buy xanax, Lowertabs, and etc. His house is in preforeclosure, elec is turned off, water is bypassed by the meter, and the step dad had a key to my house - he stole my food! His brother and everyone else uses the scooter and now the brother is telling me I cant use it - I make all the payments!!
I spoke to car loan and sheriffs office. I was told I have a serious law suit. Jeep is titled in both name but has an OR not an AND. I can take Jeep b/c I have 50% right to it. I have the title to the scooter. Friends license is suspended for a non paid ticket. Step dad said he will continue to drive even with expired tags (09/08) and doesnt care if a I take insurance off.
I have a storage shed reserved for next week. I am planning to take Jeep at their employers and put in shed. Then I will come home and get scooter. Sheriff said I could call them out, they seen all the paperwork and I can legally do this.
Brother threated my life 2 weeks ago when cable company caught them stealing my cable from my cable box - he cut thier cord. He has hit me in the past and has stolen and broken many things (a/c unit, new phones, food, tools, etc)
I feel used!! I have new alarm installed. Friend was a good friend but he hasnt talked to me much since he moved out. Am I doing the right thing? What would you do?

now neither of us are drug users, so get this out of your head. lol. i have known people who take them with a rx and i have known people who just take them recreationally and buy them on the streets. that is not cool and kinda scary. but here is the deal, she has anxiety and mood swings from hell. we researched it and see that xanax is prescribed for bipolar disorder and anxiety and depression. she has all of that. i just have anxiety, so i take celexa. one pill daily. she took one of mine one night to see if gave her any relief, it made her anxiety worse.the other day, i found a half of a xanax bar i was given to me by my aunt along time ago, she took it and said it made her remarkably calm. like she has never felt before. well we both think it would be a good idea for her to go to a dr and see about getting a rx for them. but i hear it is hard to get that kind of a script. because of the street use of them. well, she needs them. its not for pleasure or a high.does anyone have any thoughts on how she could get a dr to give her a rx for them without any problems. one time i mentioned to my dr, what about a rx for valiums for when my anxiety attacks happen and she was very against it. she said they are addictive. any ideas on how she can talk her dr into giving her a rx for xanax would be great. thanks.
