I’m 16. I’ve had anxiety for over a year now. It made me pretty depressed before. I went to see a psychologist before( didn’t help me at all). I’ve been sneaking .5 mg of clonzepam from my dad( not that I’m proud of that). Believe me, I research what I put in my body. They made me feel so much better. I’m planning on buying some from my friends solely for the purpose of anxiety. Has anyone els done this and how did it work out for you?

But believe me , I’m not stupid, I research what I put in my body. They made me feel so much better. I’m planning on buying some from a few friends soley for the purpose of anxiety. Does anyone els do this, not to get high.

How long have you taken that medication? Are you free from medications and anxiety now? In US, are you able to buy it even without the doctor’s prescription?

I have a very severe panic disorder that sometimes keeps me from doing things I have to do, like go buy groceries at the store, get my hair cut, or go pay bills. At home, I am fine. Not depressed, anxious, or anything. It is just when I go out in public that I get panicky and start to freak out–once I remove myself from the situation, I am fine again.
To deal with this, I was prescribed Alprazolam back in October, to be taken as-needed. I don’t use the medication at all unless I have to leave the house for some reason, like to buy groceries, and then I carry it with me just in case I need it.
I was given 15 pills back in October, and now, 4 months later, I still have 4 left. So I only used 11 pills in 4 months–I think that goes to show I don’t abuse it.
But as I am starting to run low, I am going to be needing some more, and am going to make an appointment with my doctor this week for that purpose. But the problem is, I know Alprazloam is a drug that is widely abused by some people, and it carries a certain stigma with it that makes some doctors not want to prescribe it for that reason. And it is going to look awfully suspicious when I go there and specifically ask for Alprazolam as the sole purpose of my visit. I’m afraid the doctor will think I am a drug abuser and tell me no.
But here’s the thing: I refuse to take daily anti-depressants or other, more long-term anxiety medications such as SSRIs. Because unless I am out in public, I am fine. At home, nothing bothers me. The reason I have panic attacks is because I was the victim of a violent crime, and going out in public places stirs up old memories and causes me to freak out. But I don’t want to subject myself to long-term medications when I am just fine when not in public. I like being able to take a pill to control the panic attack SPECIFICALLY, since that is my problem, not depression or anxiety in general.
I am thinking of bringing my current bottle of the medication with me to show the doctor I still have some of it left, as proof I am not abusing it. I just don’t know what he’s going to say if I go in there and tell him I’m seeking Alprazolam–do you think he, or any other doctor, would say no? I have my bottle, filled in October, for 15 pills, with 4 of them left…shouldn’t that be enough for them to know I am not an drug abuser and simply like having it on standby? I do need to be able to go out in public every now and then, and the Alprazolam is the only thing that helps.

I have been taking 1mg a day for about the last 6 months. Problem is i do not have insurance and can not afford to buy them, plus i dont feel as tho i need them anymore, i am doing really well in public and i am having less panic attacks. I tried to not take them one day and got really really ill. i JUST started a new job and cannot really afford to take time off but i cannot work when i am going thru the withdrawals they feel horrible. I dont have insurance so i cant just go get more. I was wondering if there was any easier way to deal with these withdrawals or if i am going to HAVE to go to the hospital to deal with it?
(they were perscribed to me, i was on workers comp and my workers comp case is closed, so i cant get my meds anymore)
And i have gone down to only .5mg a day, i take it right before i go to sleep.

today, i bought 1 pill of zanex from some guy for $5. and i looked up images of zanex and it looks nothing like what i got today. the stuff he gave me is white, circular, and has an X indented in it… is it the real SH*T? or just a ripoff?

Hi! I was just wanting to have some information on this drug, I know nothing and I keep hearing more and more about it. All I know is that it is some kind of anti-anxiety medication am I right? And that it is to be used for short term use, like as a ‘quick fix’ as apposed to something like, say, zoloft which has to be taken everyday and built up in your system.
Lately I have heard of about 6 people, either close to me or friends/ acquaintances that love this drug so much that they try to buy it on the streets. Just out of curiosity, what’s so great about it? Does it make you feel relaxed? High? And, I was wondering what are the dangers of taking this drug more than you are supposed to, or when it has not been prescribed to you? Any honest information and experiences are greatly appreciated, I don’t want to ask my friends and family that do it, I don’t want them to feel judged, and I don’t want to take it myself to find out, lol!
